Construction and Cost Control
The drawings and information we use for contracts cover everything we can anticipate. When we put a job out to to tender, we don’t want things to be missed out. Getting this right takes time, consultation with our client, and many drafts and revisions, and patience now pays off in the end.
It is like doing the entire construction in advance. We use lots of drawings in an iterative process, to try to anticipate all the complexities of the work.
When the contractor is appointed, we administer the contract throughout the build: regular site progress meetings, inspections of the work and rejection of visibly bad or incorrect work, valuations, retention of payments, and a host of other administration duties for the building contract, giving you and the builder a risk-minimised route to a great finished building.
